As of Tuesday, the hospital has treated roughly 30 inpatients for COVID-19. About 22 people are currently in the 8th-floor wing, either diagnosed or as a “patient under investigation” suspected to have the illness, according to Laura Burgess, director of the remodeled “tele-neuro” unit.
